These days we meet and make friends online every day, even though they may live anywhere in the U.S. or another country entirely. With that in mind ...
I'd like to invite you to a Virtual Coffee so we might talk about what your marketing needs are, and how I can best help you achieve your marketing goals.
We can even talk about fishing if you like. Or whatever happens to be on your mind. This is simply a chance to meet and get to know each other on a first-name basis.
But just so you know, this will NOT be a sales call. Just a chat between new friends with an eye toward building a productive and profitable working relationship. If that sounds good to you, SCHEDULE HERE.
Here's a little bit about me before we chat.
I'm a freelance construction copywriter here at Tom Coalson Copywriting. When I'm not writing (which isn't often), you can find me knocking around the Rocky Mountains, doing some fishing or rockhounding.
If heavy snows keep me inside my Colorado Springs back yard, you can find me in my woodworking shop building furniture and cabinets. Heck, I'm even planning to start crafting a new guitar!
I spent my entire youth becoming a freelance writer. Having learned all I could in college about writing and marketing, I jumped on board as a stringer for a regional newspaper.
Shortly after, my wife and I were happily surprised to find "we" were with child. As it happened, a more substantial and consistent form of income led me into the construction industry, where I spent the majority of my life.
While I started my career as an apprentice carpenter in 1972, I ended it in 2008 as a V.P. of Construction for a Denver-based home developer.
I did quite a bit of successful marketing for the companies I worked with over the years. But when the housing bust of 2008 came along, I decided to make an exit from the business once and for all. The rest, as they say, is history.
I joined the marketing industry's premier copywriters association, Associated Writers & Artists, Inc, (aka AWAI), and have become AWAI-Verified as a
direct mail copywriter,
an editorial/content copywriter,
and an online web advertisement copywriter.
I have also completed training for
and copywriting for the web.
On a final note...
As modern methods of construction (like offsite framing systems, or modular building) take center stage in the U.S., construction copywriters like me, who have first-hand experience in the industry, are a rare breed.
And I really love what I do. I love working with those in such a vibrant, rapidly changing industry. One that I dedicated most of my life to.
